Glory refers to the recognition by a large number of people and the honor won over remarkable actions. It also refers to the fact of being recognized decades and centuries after one’s death.
This value corresponds to what someone or a group of people can be proud of (see pride) : if you accomplished something you’re very proud of, if you won a battle against an enemy, a disease, an obstacle for your projects (see victory)... You are glorious.
Glory also has a religious meaning : it refers to the magnificence of God’s manifestations (see divine), some believers sing to God’s glory.
Glory also refers to the heroes from Greek mythology who make great accomplishments so they were given eternal glory and became gods.
